What is the E.A.R.L Foundation?

The E.A.R.L Foundation is a nonprofit 501©3 organization dedicated to dealing with the health and well-being of our youth’s mind, body and spirit. Excellence Achieves Real Leadership was established by Quinton Earl Henderson Sr. and Shannon Henderson in memory of their eldest son Quinton Earl Henderson Jr. who passed away on July 9, 2005, in an automobile accident. Earl was a faithful member of Sanctuary of Praise Apostolic Church and a member of the music ministry, mentor and volunteer teaching basketball to the youth. Our young people suffer from anxiety, depression, poverty, low self-esteem, poor reading skills and a lack of positive communication skills and tools. Earl is a part of the solution through mentoring programs, college scholarship grants, health and wellness programs, accountability workshops and fall festival events. All of the programs are free to the community. The foundation encourages all parents/guardians, churches, businesses and community leaders to give by sponsoring and /or volunteering within the foundation and the community.
